Do you need something to do this weekend?  Does the lack of NFL games have you down?  Well, get up off the couch and check out some of these happenings in the Marietta area and nearby. Then next week you can curl up and watch the Falcons put a big hurt on those guys from New England.  Here we go:

  1.  Georgia’s Annual Show Stopper RV Event – if your idea of camping is sleeping with the windows open, you might want to check out this event.  All kinds of campers are on sale from pop ups to the spectacular Class A motorhomes.  You will be amazed what some of these campers have in them nowadays from chandeliers to teak cabinets to marble tile and granite countertops to washer and dryers.  Check out the website here:

Then, once you find that motorhome or camper that you can’t live without, you will need to sell your house.  That’s where Tammy Sells the ATL comes into play.  We will be happy to list and sell your home allowing you to travel the world in your new RV.

  1. If you are more comfortable on two wheels, you are in luck. The largest Atlanta motorcycle show is in town this weekend also.  Check out the Great American Motorcycle Show at the Cobb Galleria Center.  This is Atlanta’s largest indoor motorcycle show.  All makes and models will be up for sale and show.  All this under one roof with over 4000 free parking spots available.  Check out this website for more info:

  2. Do you like to ice skate?  Yes, I know this is Georgia but we are blessed to have ice skating available in the beautiful Marietta Square.  Strap them up and show us a couple double axels or a spinning Lutz, or whatever.  Skating is available most days including Christmas and New Year’s Eve and Christmas and New Year’s Day.  Give it a try but make sure your medical insurance is paid up.

  3. Don’t like to fall down?  Well how about taking off and flying upward?  New to the Marietta area is an indoor skydiving operation. Scared of heights, maybe this is for you.  Check out iFly Atlanta.  I have not tried this yet but it looks like a blast.  Get inside the wind tunnel and fly like you are skydiving.  Instructors are there to help you get the most out of your experience.  Here is the website to check it out.

  4. Maybe you like to spend time down on the bayou.  If so, there is something just for you down in Smyrna this weekend.  It’s the 6th Annual Atkins Oyster Fest.  This event is going on January 28th and January 29th from 11 am to 11 pm.  Check this out for more details.

  1. The Marietta Square Farmers Market is also happening this weekend.  It is open both Saturday and Sunday and the weather looks mostly sunny both day.  Check out the hours on their website below.

Now, get off the couch and go do something.  There are plenty of activities close to you to keep you entertained.  And remember, if you or anyone you know are looking to buy or sell a house, just let us know.  We are the ones to get it done.
